In 1996, Paul Neilsen founded the Green Connection to address the need of local landscapers for a place to dispose of their
grass clippings, leaves, brush, stumps, loamy fill.....that is, their Green Waste. Landfills no longer accept it and The
Green Connection is a legal means for landscapers to dispose of their green waste. Tim Lopes joined The Green Connection
in 2002 and, together with Paul, have seen dramatic growth in the business!
Through a comprehensive, organic, double grind and windrow process, The Green Connection manufactures 100% natural, dark
mulch called Organic Dark Mulch as well as two color enhanced mulches : Jet Black Mulch and Hemlock Blend. The Green Connection
also screens fine, rich Super Loam that is excellent for garden beds and seeding lawns. For the fall and winter markets,
The Green Connection splits and seasons firewood.

"Remember, if a competitor tries to charge a delivery fee on three yards of more, then they are charging too much!"
